Roma are reportedly in pursuit of Monaco fullback Vanderson.

The 22-year-old is a big favorite of Roma technical director Florent Ghisolfi.

Ghisolfi is very familiar with Vanderson’s qualities and playing style as he’s been monitoring him since his days at Nice.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Vanderson is the latest name on Roma’s shopping list.

Florent Ghisolfi made contact with Monaco to discuss their demands.

The player’s price-tag is quite elevated – almost €25 million.

Vanderson is also being followed by Tottenham and Napoli who are looking for a replacement of Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

The newspaper writes that  is a modern winger, who has great legs and can cover the entire flank, playing both as a full-back with a 4-man defense and as a full-back, in the case of a three-man rearguard; in other words, perfect for De Rossi’s system.

Vanderson collected 3 goals and 1 assist in 23 appearances last season.
