Roma discuss Nainggolan renewal, interest for Alderweird

Sky Sport journalist Manuele Baiocchini has reported today that Roma are ready to renew the contract of Radja Nainggolan while they remain interested in Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld.

After turning down proposals worth €40 million for Radja Nainggolan, Roma are ready to sit down and renew the player’s contract. Roma want Nainggolan to feel settled after the summer was filled with transfer rumors surrounding his name. Despite having a contract until 2020, Roma are ready to raise the player’s wages after turning down several offers from Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Roma are interested in Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian has caught the attention of Roma, however, they have yet to make an official offer. Spurs have, reportedly, slapped a price tag on the player that is well-above €20 million, a figure Roma seem hesitant to pay, for now.
