Roma will face RB Salzburg in the Europa League knockout playoffs in late February following this afternoon’s draw at UEFA’s headquarters.
The Giallorossi will travel to face the Austrian side for the first leg on February 16th before the second leg takes place at the Stadio Olimpico the following week on February 23rd.
After finishing runners up in Group C, the capital club had the chance to face a number of quality opponents who dropped down into the competition from the Champions League.
After finishing third in their respective groups, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla, Sporting Lisbon, and Ajax were all potential opponents for the capital club.
