RomaPress – Roma learned their Europa League opponent early this afternoon…and it will be a meeting of familiar faces.
The Giallorossi drew Sevilla, who eliminated Cluj, in the next round of the European competition.
Roma will meet their former sporting director, Ramon Monchi, who returned to Sevilla last year after a controversial tenure in the Italian capital. The Spaniard spent nearly two years with Roma, however, many blame him for the club’s last two years of poor results.
Monchi was responsible for selling Alisson to Liverpool and replacing him with Robin Olsen as well as a host of other head-scratching moves.
