Roma learned their first Europa League group opponents during today’s draw held by UEFA in Monaco.
The capital club – who unsuccessfully competed in the final of the competition’s last edition in Budapest – were assigned to Group G for the 23-24 edition of the Europa League.
The first opponent drawn into the Giallorossi’s group was Slavia Prague. Roma last faced the Czech side nearly twenty years ago in the 1995/96 edition of the UEFA and sport an overall record of 2 wins, 1 draw, and 1 defeat against them.
Rounding out the group were defending Moldovan Super Liga champions Sheriff Tiraspol and Swiss outfit Servette.
