Roma have reportedly finalized a proposal for Mile Svilar’s new contract.
At the end of last season, the capital club’s priority was to renew Svilar’s deal and make him the starting goal-keeper in the club’s long-term project.
With Rui Patricio gone, Svilar is now the only senior goal-keeper on Roma’s roster.
De Rossi – the one responsible for betting on the 25-year-old – strongly requested for the player to have his contract renewed and extended.
According to Corriere dello Sport, it is only a matter of days before Svilar signs his new deal which is expected to be valid until 2029 and include a significant salary bump from the €900,000 he currently earns.
