Roma have made steps forward in their negotiations with Santos for attacker Marcos Leonardo.
The 20-year-old is in talks to join the capital club on a permanent deal.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, over the last few hours Roma and Santos have come closer to an agreement.
The Italian journalist states that Roma have offered €11 million plus €7 million bonuses and 10% sell-on clause. This proposal has been welcomed by the Brazilian side.
For the moment, however, Santos continue to request the €11 million to be paid immediately. The two sides are discussing the details pertaining to the modes of payment but there seems to be growing optimism that an agreement can be found on this, too.
