Roma, El Shaarawy closing in on a new contract agreement

Stephan El Shaarawy has had his best campaign since arriving in Rome. The ex-Monaco man has finally found continuity and is currently the leading scorer for the Giallorossi and has even been recalled by the Italian national team. With his contract expiring in 2020, the player has convinced Roma, who are ready to hand the player an extended deal. According to, the new agreement is likely to last until 2024 with wages of a base of €3 million (net). Soon there will be a meeting between the player’s entourage and Ricky Massara to complete the operation with the signatures arriving in the coming months.
