Following Gini Wijnaldum’s grave injury which will likely force him to miss 3-4 months of action, Roma have begun the search for a suitable replacement as the transfer window winds to an end.
One of the names linked with the capital club is that of Leandro Paredes of Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Giallorossi player has been heavily pursued by Juventus, however the Bianconeri have failed to meet PSG’s demands thus far.
According to Tuttosport, Roma are seriously considering Paredes’ return to the capital, especially given the excellent relations between the two clubs.
However, the deal remains complicated as PSG are pushing for a permanent sale of Paredes for a fee of €20 million.
