Roma enter talks with Frankfurt for Evan Ndicka

Andy Mattioli

Roma are interested in central defender Evan Ndicka of Eintracht Frankfurt and consider him the ideal defensive reinforcement for Jose Mourinho’s team in the upcoming January transfer window.

According to calciomercato.com, Roma have entered talks with the German club, having already inquired about Ndicka earlier in the summer.

Frankfurt, however, are currently asking for €10 million in order to let Ndicka leave in January given that the centreback’s contract is set to expire in June and Frankfurt have failed to renew him in the last summer window.

It remains to be seen whether Roma will be willing to offer such a sum in January. However, Ndicka is considered a priority for the Giallorossi who seek additional reinforcements for the second half of this season.
