Roma are looking to add another midfielder to their squad before the end of the summer.
One of the potential candidates for the job is out-of-favor Leicester City man Boubakary Soumaré.
Soumaré, who exploded with Lille and was signed by the Foxes in 2021 for 20 million euros, spent last season on loan at Sevilla. Despite playing as a starter throughout the season, Sevilla decided not to exercise the buy option of 15 million euros, deemed too high for their finances.
Now that the 25-year-old has returned to the Premier League, Roma have started contact with his entourage to evaluate the possibility of a transfer, writes Il Tempo.
Last season Soumaré collected a total of 32 appearances with Sevilla.
