Roma have been offered the services of Leonardo Bonucci.

The veteran centreback is on his way out of Juventus after having been excluded from Massimiliano Allegri’s squad.

According to calciomercato.com, Bonucci has been locked in talks with Union Berlin but has recently asked the German club for more time as his priority remains staying in Serie A.

In fact, his agent offered him – among others – to Jose Mourinho’s Roma who are looking to add another defender following Roger Ibanez’s exit.

The news portal claims Roma are evaluating Bonucci as a short-term option given his age and recent injury record.

In order to extend his stay in Italy, Bonucci lowered his salary demands from €6.5 million he currently earns at Juventus down to €2.5 million.
