Roma executive Tiago Pinto shared his thoughts on the rumors of a heated atmosphere at San Siro on Sunday.
Moreover, Pinto spoke right after the leader of Inter’s Curva Nord announced that the whole stadium will be equipped with whistles to specifically target Lukaku whose decision to join Roma hasn’t yet been accepted by the Nerazzurri supporters.
“Lukaku is a leader, and has a heart of gold,” Pinto told Sky Sport before Roma faced Slavia Praha earlier tonight. “He is definitely here to help the team.”
“We all have a very great social responsibility, but those who fuel hatred harm football. Those who try to fuel the crowd against Lukaku are the same ones who celebrated Mkhitaryan’s choice a year ago, and two years ago celebrated Dzeko’s arrival. Let’s think carefully when we speak, because we have a great social weight.”
