Roma expected to struggle in finding new team for Solbakken, Kumbulla and Belotti

Andy Mattioli

The upcoming offseason will see Roma forced to deal with several unwanted players.

Upon the conclusion to this year’s campaign, the capital club will welcome back to Trigoria the likes of Ola Solbakken, Marash Kumbulla and Andrea Belotti – all players whose fate is expected to unfold away from the Italian capital.

However, finding a new team for each of these players is going to be very complicated, claims Corriere della Sera.

The newspaper reports that Solbakken, for example, is in disastrous physical shape after barely playing all year long – his loan at Red Diamonds in Japan went horrible wrong with the Norwegian attacker not playing a single minute.

Kumbulla, on the other hand, was scarcely utilized during his loan at Sassuolo and the few performances he gave resulted in numerous grave mistakes.

Moreover, Andrea Belotti’s future remains unclear – the player is happy at Fiorentina but the club have not shown any signs of wanting to invest in him on a permanent deal.
