With Patrik Schick failing to convince this season, Roma sporting director Monchi is exploring his options for January at striker. Corriere dello Sport reports that the Spanish sporting director is considering sending Schick back to Sampdoria on loan for six months in order for him to re-find himself. As for replacements, one option is Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi, who is on loan at Valencia but could leave in January — another is the possible return of Gregoire Defrel, however, Samp would prefer to include Dawid Kownacki into the operation.
