Roma eye Benfica’s Julian Weigl for the summer

It is not the first time that Julian Weigl’s name is linked with a move to the Italian capital. The latest reports from Germany claim that the Giallorossi are tracking the Benfica midfielder for the summer.

According to sports outlet Bild, Roma are interested in the 26-year-old player.

Mourinho is reportedly a big fan of the ex-Borussia Dortumand man and considers him as one of the preferred profiles necessary to reinforce Roma’s midfield in June.

The German international, however, has caught the attention of several clubs, including Milan who, similarly to Roma, have already been linked with Weigl in the past.
