Roma eye Cristante renewal

After a summer that was filled with the contract renewals of Edin Dzeko, Nicolo Zaniolo, Cengiz Ünder and Federico Fazio — Il Tempo reports that Bryan Cristante could be the next one to renew his contract with Roma.

Reportedly, there is a draft of an agreement in place between the Giallorossi and Cristante’s agent to extend the midfielder’s stay in the Italian capital. Cristante’s current deal expires in June 2023 and this new contract will prolong his stay until 2025. It remains to be seen, though, if the new contract will officially be signed in January or in the summer. The midfielder is currently rehabbing an injury and is expected to return to the pitch within the next month.
