Two of Roma’s most important pieces, Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov, could remain in the capital even after they hang up their boots. Sky Sport reports that Roma is considering the possibility of offering the two ex-Manchester City men roles within the club following their playing careers. These roles still have yet to be defined, but the Giallorossi’s will is to keep them at the club well beyond their time on the pitch.

Meanwhile, Aleksandar Kolarov’s contract with the Giallorossi expires this June, but Roma want to extend this to 2021 with an option for an additional year. Negotiations have yet to begin, but there shouldn’t be any problems given that there is a mutual desire on the Serbian’s part to continue in the Italian capital.
