Roma are being linked with a goal-keeper switch only a few days away from the transfer deadline.

The capital club were recently offered Hugo Lloris’ services as the French veteran is still a free agent following his exit from Tottenham in June.

However, the Giallorossi do not seem interested in replacing Rui Patricio with another aging goal-keeper.

According to calciomercato.com, Roma are very enthusiastic about Lecce’s Wladimiro Falcone and the player could become a concrete objective next year.

At this point in time, Lecce are not interested in selling Falcone and are likely to wait for next summer before entertaining any offers for the 28-year-old.
