Roma’s search for a new sporting director is continuing and two of the favorites at the moment, according to Sky Sport, are Barcelona’s Ramon Planes and Atletico Madrid’s Andrea Berta.
Dan Friedkin’s acquisition of the club will be finalised on Monday, the 17th in both London and Rome. The Houston-based entrepreneur wants to have his management team in place soon and could look to La Liga to fill the vacant sporting director role, which was previously occupied by Gianluca Petrachi.
Juve’s Fabio Paratici was the first choice of the Giallorossi, however, he has opted to remain with the Bianconeri despite the dismissal of Maurizio Sarri.
