Roma manager Paulo Fonseca was interviewed by DAZN following his side’s 2-1 loss to Atalanta in a crucial match in Bergamo.

The Giallorossi led 1-0 at half-time, however, they were once again haunted to two mental errors from Leonardo Spinazzola and Lorenzo Pellegrini, which led to two goals for La Dea.

“Right now it is important to work on the players’ mentality. It‘s not easy to play here, Atalanta is very strong,” said the Portuguese manager.

”Today we didn’t allow them many scoring chances, we had a good game from a tactical and defensive point of view, but after the first goal, the team had a difficult time”.

”I can’t say anything negative about the team’s attitude and courage. The game was decided by details, we had a good game defensively”.
