Roma are reportedly leading the race for Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech.
The capital club have identified Ziyech as the ideal candidate to replace out-of-favor attacker Nicolo Zaniolo who is in talks with Bournemouth.
According to Italian journalist Francesco Balzani, Roma are now favored to land the Moroccon international due to Milan’s inability to sign him on a permanent deal. The Rossoneri’s initial interest in Ziyech was recently halted by the ownership’s decision to invest in any long-term deals for the time being.
As a result, Roma will be able to secure Ziyech’s signing, but only if Zaniolo were to exit the capital club within the next 24-48h.
