Roma are steps away from completing a long-term deal for soon-to-be free agent Houssem Aouar.
The Lyon midfielder is one of the most sought after free agents on the market with considerations from the likes of Napoli, Real Betis and Eintracht Frankfurt, with Roma leading the race for him.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi have proposed Aouar a five-year contract worth around €2.8 million plus bonuses and have finalized an agreement on agent commissions with his entourage.
The deal is expected to become official in the off-season once Aouar’s time with Lyon comes to an end.
