Robin Olsen’s loan spell at Sheffield United is about to end prematurely as the Swedish shot-stopper prepares to join Steven Gerrard’s men at Aston Villa.
According to Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport, there is an agreement between all clubs involved for the transfer of the 32-year-old.
Roma will cancel Olsen’s loan at Sheffield – a team he joined earlier in the summer window – and subsequently let him join Premier League side Aston Villa until the end of the season.
The keeper has already agreed personal terms with the English club, and now it is just a matter of sorting out the final details between Sheffield United and the Giallorossi.
