Roma are at work to complete a preliminary agreement for Marcos Leonardo’s switch.

The capital club have decided to let Leonardo stay at Santos until the next transfer window and thus lowering the fee they will pay for the 20-year-old attacker.

According to Il Tempo, Roma are working on the details of a written preliminary agreement that will guarantee Leonardo’s signing in January.

Leonardo has already agreed to personal terms with the Giallorossi and has been very vocal about his dissatisfaction with Santos’ decision to keep him despite promises of a summer transfer.
