With Pau Lopez headed to Olympique de Marseille on loan, Roma look to close the deal for Rui Patricio from Wolverhampton. The Portuguese goalkeeper has been Mourinho’s first choice all along and Tiago Pinto aims to satisfy his new manager.
In fact, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports of Roma pushing to sign the 33-year-old in the coming days. Right now, the Roman club is working on the final details and plans to close the deal within two-three days in order to make an announcement by the end of next week.
It remains to be seen what the final figures of the deal will be, but all signs point to Rui Patricio being the first player to come in under Mourinho’s tenure.
