Angeliño is set to remain in the Italian capital as he concludes his 6-month loan at Roma from Leipzig.

After thoroughly impressing Daniele De Rossi, Angeliño will pen a permanent deal with the Giallorossi, allowing him to stay in Rome beyond the expiry of his loan which will take place later today.

Angeliño’s loan from Leipzig, in fact, will run out today, 30 May, as Roma are reportedly finalizing the last details to make the deal permanent.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma will pay a sum of €5 million for the Spanish fullback, a price agreed in advance, a real bargain given the Spaniard’s level of performances and the interests of several teams but who have to deal with Roma’s right of first refusal.

Roma technical director Florent Ghisolfi is waiting for the Friedkins’ approval of the costs involved in the operation before making the deal official within the next hours.
