Roma are closing in on an agreement with Ola Solbakken for January, when the Norwegian attacker will become a free agent.
As reported in today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Solbakken is still nursing a shoulder injury he suffered in July. However, the 23-year-old recently underwent a second series of tests in Italy at Villa Stuart in Rome and came back with positive results.
Therefore, the Giallorossi have accelerated talks to overcome the competition in the form of Napoli and Frankfurt. The capital club have already reassured the player’s entourage and are planning to finalize the contract details for Solbakken’s arrival in 2023.
Solbakken’s decision to join Roma could eventually push Eldor Shomurodov out in the January window.
