Feyenoord central defender Marcos Senesi remains one of the many profiles Roma are evaluating for a potential summer move.
The 24 year-old Argentine’s contract with the Dutch side expires in June 2023 and there’s a strong possibility he’ll leave after the season. Though, competition for the defender’s signature is expected to be fierce once the transfer window reopens in July.
Several clubs have already expressed interest in Senesi but a new contender has emerged in recent weeks. According to La Nazione, Fiorentina have their sights set on the player and believe he fits perfectly into manager Vincenzo Italiano’s system.
Feyenoord have reportedly slapped a €12 million price tag on the left-footed defender—an asking price that La Viola would be willing to meet.
However, Roma could be aided by their good relations with Senesi’s agent, Pablo Sabbag.
