Roma have completed the list of players eligible to play for the club in UEFA competitions this year.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the capital club were forced to exclude two of their latest signings due to Financial Fair Play parameters imposed by the Settlement Agreement which focus on the club’s costs on the roster and more specifically to the signings made in each window.
The newspaper informs that Roma decided to exclude Rasmus Kristensen and Sardar Azmoun from this year’s list: this means the two players will not be allowed to feature in any of Roma’s upcoming Europa League engagements.
The decision was made on the basis of other players being available in the same position – Kristen will be replaced by either Zeki Celik and Rick Karsdorp, whereas Andrea Belotti and Romelu Lukaku will take Azmoun’s spot.
