Upon reviewing Roma’s completed squad list, UEFA signaled foul play on the club’s part with regards to FFP parameters.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, UEFA have found out that Roma went over the established limit for overall costs of the team roster.
The costs were deemed too elevated by UEFA’s standards and the constraints set by the Financial Fair Play system.
As a result, Roma were forced to remove Ola Solbakken from the list. The club’s January signing will thus not be allowed to take part in Roma’s remaining Europa League campaign.
