Roma are aiming to renew Stephan El Shaarawy’s contract.
El Shaarawy is nearing the expiry date of his current deal with the Giallorossi and hopes to extend his stay in the Italian capital.
According to Sky Sport, Roma recently made their renewal bid and are currently awaiting a response from El Shaarawy and his entourage.
Despite beginning the year in a marginalised role, El Shaarawy became reliable presence on the pitch for Mourinho, scoring 9 goals and collecting 4 assists in all competitions.
