Roma-Gent, Carles Pèrez: “I have faith in the team. We worked well this week”.


Spanish attacker Carles Pèrez spoke to Roma TV before the start of Roma-Gent in the Eternal City this evening.

The former Barca man is will make his debut from the start against the Belgian side as the Giallorossi look to snap their three-match losing streak.

“We have been working well on this match all week, it‘s an important one. We hope to get a result that will put us in good shape for the second leg,” he said.

“Gent will play their game, but I have faith in this team. We all know what we have to do. I’m happy that this will be my first start. I want to take this opportunity that the manager is giving me — it would be great to score or even get an assist”.
