RomaPress – Roma have secured a deal for the first acquisition of the José Mourinho era.
Portuguese international Rui Patricio is set to join the Giallorossi on a permanent deal from Wolves after the clubs finalised a deal late this afternoon.
The news was confirmed by both Roma and a high-ranking official at Gestifute, the agency that handles the interests of the goalkeeper.
The 33 year-old will touch down in the Italian capital tomorrow to undergo his medical examinations before putting pen to paper on a three-year contract.
Roma will pay €11 million plus bonuses for the former Sporting shot-stopper, who will arrive at Fiumicino Airport tomorrow at 11.25 local time from Lisbon complete his move to Serie A.
