Roma are determined to sign Matias Soulé in the coming days.
After formulating their second bid for the Argentine attacker, the capital club are convinced that the player will shortly be theirs.
However, the new proposal does not seem to have been sufficient to convince Juve sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli to give the green light for the player’s sale.
The Bianconeri remain unmoved, valuing Soulè at no less than 30 million. If Roma want Matias, this is what Juventus sources report, they will have to make another (small) effort: the distance between the parties is now minimal.
It would be enough to raise the offer by a couple of million, or insert a percentage on the future resale of the player to get Juventus’ approval.
However, Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma are tired of this back and forth, and will not accept another postponement from the Bianconeri.
The parties are working to find an agreement, which seems to be very close. In fact, even from Turin today they write that the agreement is one step away. For Soulè, who strongly wants Roma, it is the moment of in or out.
If Juventus were to officially reject the offer, the Giallorossi could decide to abandon the negotiating table and change their objective.
