Roma have reportedly given Rick Karsdorp an ultimatum following his repeated absence from team training.
The Dutchman refused to participate in Roma’s recent group training sessions and did not travel with Mourinho’s men to Japan following his dispute with the Special One earlier in the month.
The capital club have reached out to the player and his representatives in order to clarify the situation, offering further medical tests after the ex-Feyenoord man explained his absence with a psychologist’s certificate indicating “psychological issues.”
Karsdorp, however, declined this offer and is intent on staying in Amsterdam for the time being. Roma, on the other hand, have given him an ultimatum, reports Corriere dello Sport, demanding of him to visit Trigoria before the end of the week in order to avoid any further tension and potential fines.
