Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto is in attendance of tonight’s league fixture with Sampdoria at the Ferraris stadium. The Portuguese director spoke about Jose Mourinho’s decision to include a two-striker partnership in the form of Andrea Belotti and Tammy Abraham.

“In a team like Roma injuries can happen and we are sorry for Dybala, but we are confident with regards to the other players,” Pinto told DAZN before kick-off.

“Mourinho will look for other solutions, Belotti and Abraham played well in the second half with Real Betis.”

Additionally, Pinto shared an update on injured Paulo Dybala: “He’s doing well and is very motivated. We’ll see how things work out for his recovery. He’s in good spirits.”

When asked about Lazio director Igli Tare’s recent remarks, Pinto replied, “He doesn’t deserve a response.”
