Roma youngster Felix Afena-Gyan was, according to several reports, close to joining newly promoted side Lecce on loan with option to buy.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the deal has slowed down considerably over the last few hours.
The Giallorossi have communicated to Lecce that for the moment they do not wish to proceed with the deal.
Felix has recently been rumored as one of the counter-parts Sassuolo would be interested in in exchange for Davide Frattesi.
