Roma have ‘concrete possibility’ of signing Davide Frattesi as De Rossi’s ideal midfield reinforcement

Roma are once again being linked with Davide Frattesi who had been close to returning to the Italian capital prior to his move to Inter.

A year later, Frattesi’s future in Milan may not be guaranteed after all – the Nerazzurri are facing a difficult financial situation following the recent ownership takeover and could decide to sell the young midfielder after only one season, reports Il Romanista.

The news portal claims Frattesi may even end up back at his boyhood club given Daniele De Rossi is one of his biggest admirers and recently expressed regret over the capital club’s decision to let him go years ago, when the Giallorossi sold him to Sassuolo without a buyback option.

Frattesi’s current pricetag is of around €15 million, reports Il Romanista, making him a concrete possibility for Roma who are seeking midfield reinforcements ahead of next season.
