Roma’s rough start to the season was marked by a particularly worrying defensive instability.

What used to be the Giallorossi’s main strength throughout the entirety of last season has now failed to materialize in their first three outings of the new campaign.

As reported by ForzaRoma.info, Roma are only second to Everton in Europe in terms of disparity between chances and goals conceded resulting in only one league point so far.

The sports outlet informs that based on the chances created and the chances conceded, Roma should have statistically earned around 5.27 points so far, conceding an xGA of 2.90.

This, however, is far from Roma’s current reality in which they’ve allowed a total 6 goals on 8 shots on target.
