Roma are one of the strongest teams in Europe when playing at home. The packed Stadio Olimpico – nearing its 26th consecutive sold-out crowd on Thursday night – has proven to be hostile ground for many opponents.
According to Corriere della Sera, the Giallorossi have conceded only 5 goals in 12 home games this season. The only team ahead of them is Barcelona – the Spaniards have conceded one goal so far.
Meanwhile, Inter are trailing behind Roma with six goals conceded – two of which were scored by Roma at San Siro in October.
Due to Roma’s terrible attacking output, Jose Mourinho is hoping to further strengthen the defensive effort to help lift the Giallorossi to a Champions League qualification by the end of the season.
