Roma met with Sassuolo this morning for a second round of talks regarding Italian midfielder Davide Frattesi following the official opening ceremony of the summer transfer window in Rimini, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
The negotiations are moving slowly but progress is being made step-by-step in order to reach an agreement that will allow Frattesi to return to the Italian capital.
Tiago Pinto and Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali discussed some of Roma’s youth players the Neroverdi would like to include in a deal for Frattesi.
The negotiations are expected to carry on for the next few days as the two clubs will try to bridge the gap between Roma’s offer and Sassuolo’s demands. The Giallorossi have so offered €20 million plus Cristian Volpato as one of the counterparts going in Sassuolo’s direction.
