Roma are reportedly considering the return of midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The Argentine player was recently linked with a return to the Italian capital as rumors of Nemanja Matic wanting to depart Roma have grown increasingly stronger over the last few days.

According to Italian journalist Andrea Di Carlo of Il Romanista, Roma have shown no intention of wanting to let Matic go this summer.

However, the Serbian midfielder has asked the club to leave and is hoping to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Thus, the Giallorossi turned their attention to Paredes as a potential replacement of Matic.

Di Carlo reports that Paredes’ entourage have confirmed reports of talks between Roma and the former Giallorossi man who is on the margins of PSG’s project under Luis Enrique.
