Roma hold talks with Lecce for Morten Hjulmand

Morten Hjulmand’s impressive performance in Lecce’s recent outing with Roma has reportedly convinced the Giallorossi to start their pursuit of the Danish midfielder ahead of the summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma have initiated contact with Lecce for Hjulmand who is likely going to seek a move after the end of the season to a bigger club.

Relations between the two clubs are excellent, with Lecce sporting director Pantaleo Corvino declaring himself a close friend of Tiago Pinto’s.

Hjulmand’s price-tag is elevated, around €15-20 million but a deal could be struck with the inclusion of a counterpart such as Edoardo Bove who had been linked with Lecce in the past.
