Roma are hopeful with regards to the conditions of Tommaso Baldanzi.
The Italian midfielder was recently injured in training of Italy U21’s preparations leading up to the friendly match with Latvia.
Following a pain in his abductor muscle, a decision was taken to send Baldanzi back to base.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 20-year-old will undergo further tests at Trigoria today and begin his road to recovery.
In the meantime, Roma are hoping to have him available for the first match after the international break versus Lecce.
