The Giallorossi are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Serbian shot-stopper Mile Svilar from Benfica, claims Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport.
The capital club are negotiating the signing of the 22-year-old whose contract with the Portuguese side runs out in June.
General Manager Tiago Pinto and manager Jose Mourinho are very keen on the Serbian talent and want to bring him to the capital as soon as possible.
The two sides are currently negotiating a compensation, but the deal is well under-way and bound to be completed soon.
Despite spending big last summer on Rui Patricio, the Giallorossi have been probing several young profiles who could potentially become the veteran’s long-term replacement.
