Roma in close contact with Diawara: the player is safe on international duty

Following the dramatic events that led up to the recent coup in Guinea, Roma have made contact with Amadou Diawara, currently away on international duty.

According to outlet Adnkronos, the capital club have reached out to the player and his entourage.

The 24-year-old midfielder has reassured the club that he is safe with the rest of his national teammates.

The Guinea national team were to face Morocco, however the coup prevented the match from taking place.
