Roma have maintained their interest in Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka alive after earlier rumours had linked the capital club and the Frenchman in the summer.
According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Roma are still in contact with Ndicka’s entourage as the centreback nears the expiry of his contract with Frankfurt in June.
Ndicka has drawn interest from several top European clubs, but is yet to choose his favored destination.
Despite the heated competition, Roma are intent on battling for the player’s services as they consider him the ideal defensive reinforcement for Jose Mourinho.
