According to Corriere dello Sport, one of the less popular names so far linked with the capital club is that of Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara. The 25-year-old plays as a central midfielder and has recently caught the attention of several European clubs.
General Manager Tiago Pinto has reportedly been in touch with the Greek club and the player’s entourage to assess the feasibility of a deal in the final days of the transfer window.
The main obstacle remains Camara’s prominent role at Olympiakos: the player is a regular starter for the Greeks and an important presence in their journey for European glory as Olympiakos ready to face Slovan Bratislava in Europa League playoffs tonight.
