Roma in contact with Trevoh Chalobah for January

Roma are already eyeing additional reinforcements for the January window, with Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah being one of the main names linked with the Giallorossi.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are in contact with Chalobah’s entourage as the player pushes for a move away from London given his very limited playing time so far this season: only one appearance in the Premier League.

Chelsea, however, are not willing to permanently part ways with the young centre-back. Chalobah is likely to be signed on loan as various intermediaries continue to offer him to Roma.

Mourinho’s team are in fact continuing their search for an additional defender – the available names of on the free agent transfer market have failed to convince the club.
